the pringle Not so: for us, the Pringle is an inviting blank canvas upon which may be created works of culinary artistry. You may have noticed when shopping that Pringles are often sold alongside ready-made dips. Excellent those these can be, we feel that they cannot even begin to tap the potential of the Pringle as a vehicle for tempting tastes and exciting flavour combinations. We hope you will try some of the Pringle creations herein described, all of which we have made and enjoyed ourselves, and come to understand quite how much the Pringle has to offer.

A few words of advice: extracting the most from the Pringling experience requires mastery of a few simple techniques that we developed in our search for Pringle Perfection. For your convenience, these are described and explained here. You will also find that certain key ingredients are necessary. We have set out what we think should be in a basic Pringle store cupboard here.

We have tried to create Pringle recipes based on many of the currently available flavours of Pringle. Although qua crisp all of these are tasty, some are too strongly flavoured to admit much in the way of creative Pringling: they tend to overpower other ingredients. You will see, then, that most of our recipes use Original flavour or Dippers Pinch of Pepper as their base. Where we have used other flavours it is as a result of careful experimentation and thought, and we think we have got it right. You may try other flavours of Pringle if you wish, but you could find the results disappointing.
